65: How To Create More Freedom In Your Life

Sometimes the choices we make can make us feel confined sort of like being in some kind of interstate prison. Know this- there is a way to break free from your own prison. Most certainly, there is a way to breakout from the bars of your own prison. Having the freedom to do the things you love and to enjoy life as you would like to is something that we all strive for. Fortunately, there are ways to have more freedom in your life. All it takes is knowledge of these three freedom hacks to make your life even more successful and enjoyable. 3 Breakout Freedom Hacks to Make Your Life Even Better You Are he Warden In Your Life We are the ones who create our own prison. We are the ones who put ourselves there. You mind may easily get wrapped up in things that you should be doing or where you should be in life but you have the ability to control those thoughts and to achieve the things you desire. For example, you may make poor financial decisions like buying the latest tech toy for your nephew when it’s actually out of your budget, or you may limit yourself by sacrificing your time and own dream to help someone else achieve theirs. Don’t go above and beyond your financial means or time if it requires you to make unhealthy sacrifices.

Take Stock of Things Imprisoning You Identify the jail cells in your own prison. For instance, if you don’t have enough money for that car, don’t buy it. It’s that simple. If you don’t have enough money, look at what it is taking that money from you. If you don’t have enough time, look at the things that tend to take up a lot of your time.

Turn the Key and Break Free It’s time to take action. Remember, that you are the warden of your own prison. Once you have identified what it is holding you back from finding the freedom you yearn for, take action to change those things. For example, people in Los Angeles (and everywhere in the world) have a tendency to spend more than they can afford. As David Ramsey likes to refer to this as “Los Angelitis.” Take that fancy car back and get something within your financial means. Stop spreading yourself thin for others and take time for yourself. Say no to events, people and things that may encourage you to sacrifice the time you spend on YOU. Even if you perceive these things as good or helpful, take a step back if they’re holding you back from doing what it is that YOU want to do.
